MARK’S GOSPEL ABOUT JESUS Acts 1:16-20-“As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. ‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will make you fishers of men.’ At once they left their nets and followed him.

MARK’S GOSPEL ABOUT JESUS When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets. Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.”

MARK’S GOSPEL ABOUT JESUS “Follow Me.” Following Jesus means that we are committed to Him, to do what He says and to follow where He leads us. It is a call of allegiance to His person. Since it is the Son of God who calls us, we must respond to His call with, “Whatever, whenever and wherever!”

MARK’S GOSPEL ABOUT JESUS Paul Harvey- “Many Christians are no longer fishers of men, instead they have become keepers of the aquarium.” Witnessing is the deep seated conviction that the greatest favor I can do for others is to introduce them to Jesus Christ.

MARK’S GOSPEL ABOUT JESUS Jesus is calling us out of the house and to the ponds of Madison to impact our community and the 45,000 unchurched that are out there.
