Application: Is there someone you are having difficulty loving? Ask the Holy Spirit to pour out His love through you to that person?

Application: Is the joy of the Lord evident in your life? Are you so overwhelmed by your circumstances that your focus is on them rather than the Lord?

John 14:27 (NIV) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Application: Are you in a situation that requires patience? Are you allowing Christ to do his work in you or are you fighting him? Remember, God is at work - there is a purpose in every situation.
