ViewSweatshopNon-sweatshop (AA) Consequentialism- utilitarianism: An action is right if it promotes the best consequences. The best consequences are those in which happiness is maximized. Best for sweatshop owners, not workers. Un- utilitarian. Company is happy, employees are happy. Deontology: An action is right if it is in accordance with a moral rule or principle. Not in accordance with any morals. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Virtue Ethics: An action is right if it is what a virtuous agent—someone who lives a good life—would do in the circumstances. Virtuous people would most likely not sacrifice the wellbeing of others to enhance theirs. Treating people right.. Very virtuous.

“Prisoner’s Dilemma” A group whose members pursue rational self-interest may all end up worse off than a group whose members act contrary to rational self-interest. if the payoffs are not assumed to represent self-interest, a group whose members rationally pursue any goals may all meet less success than if they had not rationally pursued their goals individually.
