Treaty of Versailles - Terms
Germany had to give up its colonies, land in Europe, most of its army. Germany accepted the blame for the war and had to pay reparations to the Allies. League of Nations established. Does the League of Nations still exist today?

U.S. never joined the League of Nations. Fear of U.S. losing independence. Fear of being drawn into another world war.
