Task 1 - Read page 74. Create a neatly drawn timeline showing some of the key dates and events that are referenced for 1800 – 1875.
Task 2 – Read pages 76 – 78 together in class and discuss politics, population, and economics.
Task 3 – Who were the diverse groups of people in British North America? Create a chart that provides information about the four groups.
Task 4 – What was daily life like for these groups of people living in BNA? (Again, perhaps a chart might be the best way to organize this.)
Task 5 – Maps – Before (British North America before 1867) and After (North America today)
