Structure with a learning plan Business objective Learning objective Learning activitiesWhat do they need to know? Motivation / WIIFM This is what the business needs to accomplish. It should be stated in a measurable form This is the task, measure and condition of performance These are what the learner needs to do to reach the learning objectives. Using action based learning is great here. List any knowledge needed to perform the task What will drive the person to want to learn? Have you taken into account ARCS? e.g. Increase production of widgets by 5% e.g. Operates cutting machine within 5 ml variance 90% of the time e.g. Cutting using a dummy machine Describing errors that may happen and how to fix them e.g. How to cut How to complete paperwork What errors may happen e.g. Practice to build confidence Provide regular feedback
