3. Safety, behaviour and valuables All students will be covered by a fully comprehensive insurance policy 24 hour emergency contact is available to all parents Iceland is an expensive country. Bring no more that £50 in local currency but be warned your money won’t go far! My advice is no mobile phones, tablets, expensive cameras, games consoles, etc. These may not be covered on the group insurance policy Poor behaviour will result in students being requested to leave Iceland at the expense of parents/ guardians Zero alcohol and drug policy. You will be reported to the local police and removed from the trip

5. DAY 1 (12 th Feb) Meet at Falmouth school by 02:45 for a 03:00 departure Flight leaves Gatwick at 12:30 Arrive at the hotel and have evening meal, then sleep!

6. DAY 2 (12 th Feb) Skogafoss waterfall Reynishverfi – Black sand beach Dyrolaey – Coastal geography Solheimajokull – Glacier tongue of the Myrdalsjokull glacier Seljalandsfoss waterfall – walk behind it if you like!

7. DAY 3 (13 th Feb) Hellisheidi Geothermal Power station Þingvellir National Park (where the two plates meet) Great Geysir Gullfoss Waterfall Kerid – Perfect volcanic crater

8. DAY 4 (14 th Feb) Lake Kleifarvatn – pillow lava Seltun geothermal area Surtseyan type volcanic cones Hot springs at Gunnuhver Cross the mid-Atlantic ridge

9. Blue lagoon DAY 5 (15 th Feb) Late breakfast Blue Lagoon swim Fly home 
