3. The T-piece The T-piece can be thought of as a mini manifold. On circuit diagrams the T-piece is represented by a dot.

4. Assignment 4 1.A delivery lorry uses a pneumatic braking system. The brakes operate when the driver presses the foot brake. Two single-acting cylinders should outstroke at the same time activating the brakes.

5. Assignment 4 Build and test the circuit shown (use a push button to simulate the foot brake). Describe how the system operates. Explain the purpose of the T-piece.

6. Assignment 4 2.Four single acting cylinders are used to clamp large nameplates to a table to allow them to be engraved. All four cylinders must operate at the same time.

7. Assignment 4 Design a pneumatic system to solve the clamping problem. Using the Pneumatics kit, build and test your solution. Describe how your system operates. Explain your choice of actuator
