4. 6.Project Sketch & Layout  Shows boundaries and major features  Sketch adds “proposed” size & features  All team members should participate in these drawings 7.Design Investigation Report  Written Technical Report – consult with advisor  Include such items as: Problem(s) to be solved in the design Logic of size of key features Options considered; cite the pros & cons of each Applicable codes, ordinances or criteria that will control the project Cite all technical information to be used Concept decision – what engineering design method will be used and why Constraints – cite any political, environmental or physical limitations 8.
