When should a person be baptized?

“…baptism now saves you…” (1 Peter 3:21) “…be baptized and wash away your sins…” (Acts 22:16) “Repent and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of yours sins…” (Acts 2:38) The purpose of baptism is to save.

“John was also baptizing in Aenon…because there was much water there…” (John 3:23) “…they both went down into the water,…and he baptized him” (Acts 8:38) “Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death,…” (Romans 6:4) The God-ordained act of baptism is immersion in water.

He who has been baptized has been saved and shall believe. He who has believed has been saved and shall be baptized. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved. “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” (Mark 4:9)
