Carbohydrates Carbohydrates are sugars that give us the energy to do things like grow. Carbohydrates can come from fruits, candy, starches, and most other food. Carbohydrates are chains of glucose molecules, which is a monomer.

Proteins Proteins are used to build, maintain, and replace tissue in your body. The best sources of protein are meats, eggs, dairy products, nuts, seeds, and bens. Proteins are chains of amino acids.

Lipids Lipids do many things some are, store energy, provide cushioning for our organs, and they help us stay warm. Lipids are found in oil, cheese, butter, eggs, and meat. Lipids are made of three acid tails. Lipids are sometimes called glycerol.

Nucleic Acids Nucleic Acids are the molecules that have our genetic information, they store genetic information. Nucleic Acids are found in DNA or Deoxyribonucleic Acid. Nucleic Acids are made of individual units called nucleotides.
