Reader’s Workshop: Similes and Metaphors As you are reading today, try to find a simile or metaphor in your book. If you can not find either, make one of your own based off of your book. Be ready to share your sentences and whether each is a metaphor or simile by the end of the reading time. We will now be reading independently. Remember, reading is thinking, so we must remain silent during this time.
