Goals Improved teacher content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge and skills Highly qualified teachers Better instructional practices Improved student participation, learning, and achievement in mathematics To bring math and science teachers together with scientists, mathematicians and engineers.

Content and Pedagogy – contact with higher education, with a focus on revised MLRs, informational technology, & formative assessment Networks and Regional Learning Communities Using data

Required Partners One engineering, science or mathematics department of an institution of higher education High need LEA listed in Appendix F One CTE Region or Center if project includes High School teachers
