FORMAL BALANCE IS WHEN THE ELEMENTS OF EACH SIDE OF THE PHOTO ARE SYMMETRICAL THIS IS OFTEN CALLED SYMMETRICAL BALANCE
10
BOTH SIDES OF PHOTO MATCH EACH OTHER.
11
INFORMAL BALANCE Informal balance relates to the visual balance of the photo. Each side of the photo must relate to the other and therefore balance the scene, but they do not have to be the same item. Often they are the same image at a different size.

FILE FORMATS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49_BX4HeIw4&list=PLeu1p5jL 9GOPjGt7Ker8FMNCTyEynb3ds&safety_mode=true.jpg - This is a standardized format to save a photo in but it is very compressed and doesn't give you very much control to make changes because of this compression you can fit lots of photos on your camera RAW – This is format that only higher end cameras can save in and it allows you great control to makes changes later but they are very large and as such take up lots of space on your camera.
