The taiga is also known as a Coniferous Forest because most of the trees are evergreen cone-bearing trees.

It stretches across Canada, Northern Europe, and Asia. It is the world’s largest biome.

The taiga has long cold winters like the tundra. The summers are warm, rainy, and humid.

85 cm. This is mostly in the form of snow.

9. The average temperature is below freezing for six months out of the year. The winter temperature range is -54 to -1° C (-65 to 30° F).
Temperature range in the summer gets as low as -7° C (20° F). The high in summer can be 21° C (70° F).

10. Moose, lynx, bear, geese, and fox are some of the animals that live in the taiga.

11. Coldness and food shortages make things very difficult, mostly in the winter. Some of the animals in the taiga hibernate in the winter, some fly south if they can, while some just cooperate with the environment, which is very difficult.

12. I would like to live in the taiga biome because I like the snow in the winter and the cool summers. I do not like to be hot like in the desert. I also do not like a lot of rain like the rain forest.
