What happens to those who have it? Deterioration of Brain Movement Disorders Including: Involuntary jerking Involuntary sustained contraction of muscles Slow uncoordinated movements Slow abnormal eye movements Impaired gait, posture, and balance Difficulty Speaking Difficulty Swallowing

What happens cont'd Life Expectancy: 10-30 years after onset of symptoms. No cure, but medication can help with symptoms and slow down deterioration of brain.

How is it Passed On Passed Genetically from parent to child Dominant gene so a child with one parent with the disease and one without have a 50% chance of getting the disease.
