4. Tesco Pre-employment Training
City and Guilds Entry Level 3 in Employability Skills.
Site visit to the Customer Fulfilment Centre
All candidates who complete the 2 week programme will have a guaranteed interview with Tesco upon successful completion of the Tesco Application & Situational Judgment Test

5. The Roles – CDA’s and Loaders
Customer Delivery Assistants – CDA’s are not only a driver, they are a representative of Tesco providing excellent Customer Service.
Loaders – Loaders work in the Customer Fulfilment Centre loading the vans and provide cover for CDA’s if not enough on shift
CDAs - Doorstep customer service – being warm and friendly and going the extra mile
Loaders - role is predominately outside in the yard, moving the vans into the relevant bays to prepare them with customer orders.

7. Shifts / Hours Customer Delivery Assistants
Full time (36.5 hours per week) and part time available
Monday – Saturday
Shifts between 6.00am and 11.00pm
Candidates will be required to be flexible across all shifts and days
Note: Due to Health and Safety, this role requires you to be 18 or over.

8. The Role - Personal Shoppers
A Personal Shopper is required to work short shifts with a minimum of 15 hours per week. Personal Shoppers pick and pack items of shopping and place into totes.
The Personal Shopper will be responsible for picking the shopping, ensuring that the goods are handled carefully and the best quality is chosen. Depending on the centre and the level of automation they will either be expected to use a hand held device and push a trolley around the aisles to pick, or have an arm mounted device and visit different stations, or be stationary and operate a machine that brings the customer trays and the goods to you.
They will be ‘managed’ on pick rate, number of missing items, quality complaints.
Requirements for role, good understanding of English, moderate flexibility due to bending and stretching. Be able to be on feet for the whole shift. Able to work in the cold room.”

9. Shifts / Hours 15 hours with overtime available
Example Shift Patterns:
Monday , Thursday , Friday , Saturday
Candidates will be required to be available on working days till 11.45am, various shifts across the week all include Friday, Saturday or Sunday
Note: Due to Health and Safety, this role requires you to be 18 or over.

11. Key Criteria To be considered for these roles you must have:
Physical fitness with good mobility, as heavy lifting may be required
A smart appearance and friendly attitude.
Awareness of road safety and legal compliance (CDA/Loader)
Able to work in cold temperatures (Personal Shoppers)
Flexibility with your working hours

12. Key Criteria
Valid ID (full birth certificate or passport or RTW in UK)
Proof of national insurance, proof of address
Driving roles only:
UK Driving license* for at least 1 year with no more than 3 points or any bans in the last ten years
No unspent criminal convictions & declared spent convictions
*Driving roles in Enfield require a C1 License
