PROJECT: dV = 0 Step 1: In order to accomplish the project’s goal, the fundamental prerequisite is knowing the ACTUAL voltage we’re applying… Issue:Difference between DV, MV (mainframe) & actual voltage supplied Solution:Calibration Curves for all channels Step 2: What voltage ends up being supplied to the GEM/Mesh? Issue:Resistor values only known by color code (…) Solution:Measurement of all resistors installed on divider board Step 3: What is going to be The Mesh Voltage for RB? Issue:Who knows? Solution:1+1 Mesh Voltage Sweep during +/- config and ADC readout files for every sweep voltage analysis peak of PE vs. Mesh V. PROJECT PROGRESS Under IR Access > MF Calibration, HV Control runs a calibration procedure automatically for every channel, while the Fluke via divider records every second (FlukeView) the output voltage of the particular channel on the LeCroy After initial non-linearity problems (unknown current development), further calibration work will be done (…) ALL resistors have been measured with Fluke in nS through FlukeView with 20 stable events each for average calculation These will be out shortly… available in the hvdb database ALL take-out resistors have been labeled with an unique position code From now on, any future changes can be done safely without any mix-up!
