High leadership motivation: Wants to be received positively by others for taking over responsibility Easily leads discussions Enjoys speaking in front of others Has the will to instigate changes

High decision making and responsibility: Ready to take decisions; do not wait to be told to take action Easily overcome failures Are very proactive

Ability to cooperate and communication skills: Do not mind long discussions, thinking over various strategies and solutions Do not mind compromises Give all persons involved a voice in finding solutions Know how to put to use the competences of others to strive for solutions

Emphathy: Are good listeners Are very mindful of the verbal and non-verbal signals of their communication partners In doing so, they want to understand the motives of others, but do not need to be judgmental Are able to ‘walk in the shoes of others’

Including various roles into the team - Team Types prototypers: realize, put into practice ideas, open for new ideas, ‘let’s try’ – approach, pragmatic approach motors: move the team forward, may be very impulsive and somewhat impatient; the reliable: very committed to moving forward, less creative, maybe: waits for ideas to develop and then takes them on to put into practice

Team Types the detail lover: very analytic, loves to think things through in detail, therefore assuring quality, sometimes too much focused on details, therefore loosing sight of the overall goal and may be hindering The helper: executes tasks very well, likes to be lead, but rather a traditionalist The gatherer: documents progress of the teamwork, therefore avoiding repeating steps, good at retrieving information; knowledge management for the team, writing manuals, etc.
