St. Cuthbert’s R.E. Department Women were seen as h hh homemakers. Men were seen as b bb breadwinners. SO SO when women had children, they tended to leave their jobs, AND AND husbands were expected to provide for all the family. As a result, As a result, men got paid more than women, AND AND men got promoted more than women!

St. Cuthbert’s R.E. Department Men and women are equal in law BUT sexism remains! Average wage for women is LOWER! LESS women reach higher paid jobs! Some jobs still have a GENDER IMBALANCE!
