The process starts with almost two tons of clay being mixed with water in a large vat.

The liquid clay is than transferred to this pressurized holding tank where it is constantly being mixed to keep it in liquid form.

The plaster of paris molds are prepared for pouring.

The clay is injected into the mold using the low pressure from the holding tank (approx. 10-12 PSI) and gravity. It sets in this mold for approximately one hour to dry.

The top of the mold is then removed and the sink is left to set for 24 hours.

The sinks are then inspected and cleaned by hand to remove imperfections.

The sinks in green form awaiting glazing and firing.

The sinks are glazed by hand and stay in the kiln for 18 hours where the temperature will reach 2280 degrees Fahrenheit. They then cool down for 18 hours before being removed.
