n Blindsided by people we thought were our friends n Being falsely accused and everyone believes it n Sins and failures that happen again and again despite all our efforts. n Being sinned against and sinning ourselves.

Psalm 25 Remembering and Forgetting after we sin.

Psalm 25 1 To you, O Lord, I o lift up my soul. 2 O my God, in you I p trust; q let me not be put to shame; r let not my enemies exult over me. 3 Indeed s none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are t wantonly u treacherous. 4 v Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. 5 Lead me in your w truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. 6 Remember your x mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, y for they have been from of old. 7 Remember not z the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your a steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! 8 b Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he c instructs sinners in the way. 9 He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. 10 All the paths of the Lord are d steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. 11 For your e name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my guilt, for it is f great. 12 Who is the man who fears the Lord? Him c will he instruct in the way that he should choose. 13 His soul shall g abide in well-being, and his h offspring i shall inherit the land. 14 j The friendship 1 of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. 15 My k eyes are ever toward the Lord, for he will l pluck my feet out of the net. 16 m Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. 17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses. 18 n Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. 19 Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me. 20 Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! o Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. 21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you. 22 p Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Afflicted Psa 9:18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish forever. Psa 10:2 In arrogance the wicked hotly pursue the poor ; let them be caught in the schemes that they have devised. Psa 10:9 he lurks in ambush like a lion in his thicket; he lurks that he may seize the poor; he seizes the poor when he draws him into his net. Psa 12:5 “Because the poor are plundered, because the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the Lord; “I will place him in the safety for which he longs.”

Psalm 25 Shame 20 Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.

Trust Psalm 25 1 In you, LORD my God, I put my trust. 2 I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. 3 No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.

God Leads Psalm 25 4 Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. 5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. 8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. 9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.

God Forgets and Remembers Psalm 25 7 Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, LORD, are good.

God Leads Psalm 25 12 Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.

Our Destiny Psalm 25 13 They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land.

Our Destiny Psalm 25 20 Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. 21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, LORD, is in you. 22 Deliver Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
