April 2005OLAV Workshop Valve Control Crates Generic 6 valve and 4 valve control crates using Omron PLC One interlock from each gauge, Pirani and IMG to valve control crate. Crates have service and operational modes Crates control other pneumatic devices such as absorbers and shutters 6 valve controller interfaces with fast valve/flap electronics Each pneumatic valve has own pressure switch. (Need to use de-bounce in PLC program) Pneumatic devices have connector box so that possible to connect to valve control crate via a single 12 way cable, connections for, 4 limit switches, 1 solenoid, and 1 air pressure switch. Valves have 2 interlock switches for open and 2 for close, interlocks used for vacuum control and for MPS. IMGs used to control valves and MPS in operational mode Pirani gauges used to control MPC, pump control units Pirani gauges used to control valves in service mode
