24 USING THE FARM

25 net render uses remote machines best for animations there are 80 machines currently generally overnight

26 step 1: link to shared folder Search: “run” Type \\10.20.20.7\Render Files

27 drag backburner folder to your desktop in needed, Login name should be “eclabs\backburner“ the password is “render”

28 step 2: specify output file

29 file location double-click on the farm link make folder for yourself name file specity file type

31 step 3: check Net Render

32 step 4: click Render on 2013, find sub-menu on Render Setup

33 step 5: connect to server 10.20.20.7

34 step 6: enable notifications

35 put in your email address

36 step 7: submit

37 step 8: submit, and wait single rendering may be slower than your computer you’ll get an email when it’s done (or failed)
