What are you afraid of ? The future? The dark? Change? What people will say or do to you because you are a Christian? Being in the minority?

What are you afraid of ? Phrases like “fear not” and “do not be afraid” are found over 360 times in the Bible. God’s children can live fearlessly in this dark and uncertain world because they trust God!

Do Not Be Afraid of trouble from the wicked Do not be afraid of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; For the LORD will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught. -- Proverbs 3:25-26

Do Not Be Afraid of what you might have to suffer in the future “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer… Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” -- Revelation 2:10

Do Not Be Afraid of terror in the night “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day” -- Psalm 91:5

Do Not Be Afraid of defending your faith But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear. (1 Peter 3:14-15)

Do Not Be Afraid of what man can do to you “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” -- Psalm 118:6

Do Not Be Afraid when God’s people appear to be outnumbered “I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.” -- Psalm 3:6

Do Not Be Afraid in times of great change “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah” -- Psalm 46:1-3

No matter how dark, or steep, or uncertain the path may be… “In God I have put my trust; I will not fear.” -- Psalm 56:4
