3. The Exodus Where are they going? Where are they going?  Ultimately → ‘to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey’  Generally → ‘a three days journey into the wilderness’  Specifically → Horeb, the mountain of God

4. The Exodus How did they get there? How did they get there?  God led them  Prevention: God did not want them to turn back  How did God lead them?  Progression: God did not want them to stop  Where did God lead them?  Purpose: God wanted to save them

7. How Did Moses Part the Red Sea? “Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground. And I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they shall go in after them, and I will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, his chariots, and his horsemen. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten glory over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”
