Interlibrary Loan Borrowing material from another library ILL is not Reference –ILL means getting a known (hopefully) item I want a book about the Sayre Family I want the book called The Sayre Family by Theodore Banta The Subject Guide to Books in Print is not an ILL tool –Nor for that matter much of a reference tool

Interlibrary Loan Avoid it if you can A service for a single patron –Very Expensive Buy don’t Borrow –You know at least one person wants it –Charge it Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Powell’s
