CBC stands for INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee  INTOSAI strategic Goal 2 Mission: « to build the capabilities and professional capacities of SAIs through training, technical assistance and other development activities » INTOSAI Strategic Plan 2011-2016

5. 4th Meeting of the INTOSAI-Donor Steering Committee - Jaipur, 23- 25 February 2012 5  CBC Proposed Strategies in the Strategic Plan: Promote increased capacity-building activities among INTOSAI members and regional groups in harmony with IDI and through regional, bilateral and multilateral efforts; Develop cooperation with international development organizations, consistent with INTOSAI’s independence requirements; Advisory and consultant services; Promote best practices and quality assurance through voluntary peer reviews.

6. 4th Meeting of the INTOSAI-Donor Steering Committee - Jaipur, 23- 25 February 2012 6  Relation CBC/INTOSAI-Donor Cooperation: In accordance to its strategic missions, the CBC was active in exploring funding possibilities since 2006 until the signing of the MoU between INTOSAI and donors in 2009 The CBC Chair is a member of the INTOSAI- Donor Steering Committee whose inaugural meeting was held on February 2010.
