All rights reserved. 25 - 10 Using Multiple Page Drop-Down Lists Provides the ability to manipulate a drop-down list for each attribute placed in the pages section Multiple attributes in the Pages section...... are concatenated in a single drop-down list. Select More Options > Start New Page Drop Down...... to create separate drop-down lists for each attribute.

All rights reserved. 25 - 11 Overriding Default Aggregation Rules Use “More Options” to override the default aggregation rule for a measure specified in the Business Intelligence repository or by the original author of a request. Default aggregation rule is SUM. Select More Options > Aggregation Rule to override the default. New aggregation rule is applied.

All rights reserved. 25 - 14 Adding Formatting: Pivot Table Positions You can customize the formatting and appearance of sections, rows, columns, measures, and the content that they contain. Use the Properties buttons to customize sections and section content. Use the More Options buttons to customize pages, columns, rows, and measures.

Show blank rows. –Default: Suppress to preserve space in results. Specify how the column heading appears. Set page breaks between section elements when the pivot table prints. Select to show blank rows as white space in results.

Display the relative value of an item compared to the total. Relative values: percentage of total for the section Brown sugar sales to Rice Bowl = $1732.06 Percentage of brown sugar sales to Rice Bowl relative to entire MidWest district = 10.5%

All rights reserved. 25 - 29 Displaying Running Sums in Pivot Tables A consecutive cell for a measure displays the total of all previous cells for that measure: This is a display feature only, with no effect on actual pivot table results. Running sums are typically displayed for duplicated columns or measures showing data as a percentage. Select More Options > Display as Running Sum. Duplicated column Results appear as running sum.
