3. Inventor: Forrest E. Mars, Sr. Forrest was born on March 21,1904 in Minnesota and raised in Canada after his parents divorce. His father Frank C. Mars, had been operating a successful candy business of his own in Chicago. From this company, Mars, inc, establish in franks home in Tacoma Washington in 1911,came the ever popular Snickers, Milky way, Three Musketeers. He also set up a small candy factory in England. Mars retired from Mars, Inc, In 1993 and stared a new company Ethel M. Mars died in July 1,1999 at the age of 95. At the time of his death his estimated worth 4 billion.

4. Invention: M&M In 1940 Mars concocted his own version of candy coated chocolate drops took them to Hershey The design was patented on March 3,1941 that year M&M went on sale. In, 1954 M&M peanut chocolate candy introduced and black M&M impring was change to white. By 1958,demand for M&M had surpassed 1 million pounds for week. M&M’S were also the official candy at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles
