3. Unit Summary Students study ancient Greece and relate it to modern life. They research an aspect of ancient times that has influenced American life and culture today. They create a publication or presentation about their topic and share it with an audience.

4. CFQs Essential Question: How does the past influence the future? Unit Question: How are the contributions of Ancient Greek society still shaping American life today? Content Questions: What form of government was used in Ancient Greece ? What is the Acropolis? What famous buildings in the US have a similar architecture? What is a myth? Who are philosophers? How are the Ancient Olympics similar to modern day Olympics?
