8 IntroductionThere are many different ways of explaining dysfunctional behaviour, and some explanations may be more appropriate for certain disorders than others. P1The biological explanation assumes that behaviour is the result of genetics, chemical imbalances or brain structure. A strength of this is that there is evidence to support the explanation: Gottesman as evidence and supporting evidence for Gottesman. Treatment… P2 (counter- argument) However, they did not find 100% concordance between MZ twins, if a dysfunctional behaviour was completely genetic we would expect very high levels of concordance between those who share the most DNA.
