The Transportation Revolution was a period of time when transportation was cheaper and a more efficient to travel. Many railways, roads, and canals were built at this time.

There was a man named Albert Gallatin He was the Secretary of Treasure. It all started when he said, “We need to make internal improvements to our nation.”

Canals were the fastest way around. Canals were replaced by railroads because railroads were faster than canals.

When railways, roads, and canals were finally built they enabled industrialists to seek new markets. This helps industrialists move their makings faster.

The Transportation Revolution was the most common source of pollution in the 1800’s. The pollution that was produced in the 1800’s during the Transportation Revolution could be the cause of pollution in the world today.
