At the hanger : people on the tail people on the wingtips people pushing on the leading edge of the wings = close to the fuselage ONE PERSON IN CHARGE !! once outside the hangar SECURE the glider

Towing to the launch point : use sufficient length of rope communication with the driver taxiing slowly use of control locks no sharp turns sufficient people !! LOOK OUT !! in strong winds: person in the cockpit

At the launch point : secure the glider wing control locks lower the wing into the wind secure the canopies in strong winds - extra securing of the wings - extend the airbrakes - prevent the aircraft from “weather cocking” need sufficient number of people
