Two will be permanent positions. One four days per week, the other 5 days per week. The remaining vacancy will be a casual position. We need one person to work every day and the other to be on duty four days a week. In order to provide occasional cover, a third ‘casual’ position is also on offer. The 4 day position will become available after Christmas. Application forms are available from the school office. Closing date for applications is 23 rd October 2015. Interviews will be held after half term. Twitter St. Stephen’s Primary School has its own Twitter account. You can either follow us on Twitter @StStephensPSch or see the news feed on our school website. Following us is a great way to see events that are happening in school, either in individual classes or whole school events. Please consider either following us on Twitter or checking the school website to see the great learning taking place! We are not long into our new academic year, and already the children have settled down well into their new classes. It is lovely to walk around school and see so much enthusiasm from our pupils, both during lessons and after school club activities which are running every night of the week.

Stage School Car Park Please may we ask that parents do not drive into the staff car park. Due to the limited space in the car park, several members of staff have suffered damage to their cars, and the car park lights have also been knocked down. We would request that all parents and children on foot use the marked footpath rather than the drive. Wedding We would like to wish Miss. Haigh and her Fiancé our very best wishes for her forthcoming marriage which is to take place over the half term holiday. When we return, Miss. Haigh will be known as Mrs. Jones. We hope to keep the confusion to a minimum with two teachers sharing the same name. REMINDERS Please can all Parents keep a check on their Parentpay accounts. We have a threshold of £10.50. Office Staff will be making calls to anyone who exceeds this amount. Thank you __________ Data Collection Sheets – please can all data sheets be returned to the school office, even those without changes. __________ We have just bought a large number of balls for children to use at break. So none from home are required. __________ To avoid accidents, all earrings should be removed for PE lessons. __________ If you have not already made an appointment for Parents’ Evening. Appointment books can be found in the Main Entrance. __________ Please can you check your child’s hair regularly. It is nit season again ! __________ Tracksuits We discourage jumpers being substituted for tracksuit tops. Of course should a top go missing there is little option until it is found or replaced. Please make sure tracksuits have names sewn in or ironed on. Pen is unreadable and often washes off completely. WB Global Trading Limited in Walton on Trent, have our tracksuit in stock. “Develop a passion for learning. If you do you will never cease to grow” Anthony J. D’Angelo Harvest To support our harvest celebrations, we would ask for any tinned or dried food packets week commencing 19 th October. We will take our collection to the local food bank. Many thanks in anticipation of your generosity. Scooters/Bikes/Animal Crackers The mini-buses from Animal Crackers are using the area to the back of the kitchen to turn around. Children who previously put their bikes and scooters in this area should now leave them at the back of the mobile.
