2. Green Monkey: Green Monkeys are originally from West Africa. They came to Barbados 350 years ago. Mongoose: There are more than 30 types of Mongoose. They can range from 1-4 feet long. Red-Footed Tortoise: The Tortoise has red, Yellow, and orange markings on its face. It is called the Red Footed Tortoise because of the red tinton its limbs. The Tortoise can live 40-50 years.

3. Miami Beach: It is ranked 1 st out of all of the beaches in Barbados. Mount Hillaby: It is the tallest mountain in Barbados at 340 miles high. Mount Dover Beach: At miles high, it is the 2 nd highest mountain in Barbados.

4. The influence of the English on Barbados is a lot more noticeable on this island than other islands in the west indies. Citizens there are officially called Barbadians. An important event there is the Crop over.

6. Some believe that the Amerindians settled here from Venezuela around 1623 B.C. The Arakaks were the people after the Ameridians. The Arakak people were conquered by the Caribs in 1200. The Carib people were Cannibals.
