2. The Gospel is God’s Power to Save You!

3. The Preaching of the Gospel establishes and solidifies your faith! “Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ…” (Rom. 16:25)

4. We have been called to glory by the Gospel “He called you by our gospel for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Thessalonians 2:14)

5. The Gospel informs us of our Hope in Heaven “…the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel” (Colossians 1:5)

6. The Gospel lights the way to immortality “Jesus Christ has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel” (2 Timothy 1:10)

7. When you hear the Gospel, you are hearing something that is eternal “…the word of the Lord endures forever. Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.” (1 Peter 1:24-25)

8. Let us pray that preachers will preach the Gospel with boldness Praying “for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel” (Ephesians 6:19)

9. Let us be Present and Ready to Hear when the Gospel is Preached “Now therefore, we are all present before God, to hear all the things commanded you by God.” (Acts 10:33)
