3 Open Your Chromebook ●You should ONLY sign in with your SCHOOL account Email: studentID@cv.k12.ca.usstudentID@cv.k12.ca.us Password: studentID ●Click on Chrome App in lower left hand corner

4 Logging in to Google Drive ●Click on Chrome App ●Chrome Web Browser will come up ●Click on upper right hand corner to sign in (if needed) ●On black bar, click on “Drive”

6 Enable Offline Editing More--> Offline --> Enable Offline

7 How to access Offline Docs When your computer is not connected to the internet, just open up Chrome and click on your drive app. The next time you have wifi, your computer will update.

13 How to Get Started ●Click on Untitled Presentation and rename the presentation file o Your last name - ELA Per ____ ●You’ll need to decide on 5 images that represent the most interesting things about your I-Search topic o Make sure the images are relatively free of words o Think creatively!

14 How to Insert an Image on any Google Doc ●Go to Insert--> Image ●Click on the type of source you’d like to use o Most of you will want to choose “Search” to look at what’s available.

15 How to Find Image URL ●Google.com--> Choose Images from Black Toolbar ●Type in what you want as image

16 How to Find Image URL ●Select image, click on view original image

17 How to Find Image URL ●View image in whole browser ●Copy and paste the images URL ●Can use shortcut keys: o Ctrl + C for Copy o Ctrl + V for Paste
