3. ABOUT IT ! Gaelic is an Irish sport. The first ever championship was in 1887. In 1913 the GAA bought Croke park for three and a half thousand pounds. The Sam Maguire Cup was first played in 1928 Kildare beat Cavan.

4. John comes in every Thursday and teaches us Gaelic. Last year he took us down to Malin to play another school. We played it a lot when we tried to earn the Active School Flag. We got Gaelic nets two years ago. We use them every day.

5. RULES The rules of Gaelic are very easy.  Every four steps you have to solo it or bounce it.  You can only bounce it once then you have solo it.  But you can solo it as much as you like.  You can tackle the goalkeeper.
