A baby carrot is an immature carrot They are from the same plant as the carrot, they are just harvested sooner Baby carrots are sweeter and more tender than full-grown carrots

Carrots are root vegetables It is a biennial plant which grows a rosette of leaves in the spring and summer, while building up the stout taproot, which stores large amounts of sugars for the plant to flower in the second year

Baby carrots are often used for snacks because they are so convenient. They don’t have to be peeled, are bite-sized, and can be out of the refrigerator for a while without spoiling.

They are packed with B-carotene, which our bodies convert to Vitamin A Vitamin A affects the formation and maintenance of skin, mucous membranes, bones, and teeth, vision and reproduction. Vitamin A also may reduce the risk of certain cancers Carrots are also a very good source of vitamin K and a good source of vitamin C, vitamin B6, and potassium
