Practice multiplication and division facts. Solve math problems in everyday activities: shopping, cooking, cleaning, driving, etc. Ask your child questions about what they have learned in school that day.

16 WASHINGTON, DC The Fifth Grade team is planning a field trip to our nation’s capital Washington, DC on May 2 – 4, 2015, utilizing Mann Travel – Cindy Oxendine with Rose Charters as the motor coach company. We are embarking on this great learning adventure to analyze, apply, and evaluate significant events that led to the creation of our democratic nation. This learning adventure correlates with our Social Studies Essential Standards objectives 5.H.1, 5.H.2, 5.C&G.1 and 5.C&G.2. The cost of the field trip for 125 people is $276.00 per person. We will have fund raisers to help lower the cost of the trip for the grade level and for individual students.
