5 When analyzing DNA The cell’s most important genes are not analyzed because they are mostly identical among most people. Genes that make our bodies function appropriately are the same. Approx. 99.9% of our DNA Genes that determine our physical characteristics may be different. Approx. 0.1% of our DNA

6 DNA FINGERPRINTING USES
There are many uses for DNA fingerprints. Suspects of crimes have been convicted from DNA fingerprint evidence. Suspects of crimes have been acquitted from DNA fingerprint evidence. Paternity cases have been decided on based on DNA fingerprint evidence. People can be tested for genetic diseases using DNA fingerprints.
