Business Problem  The webMethods platform hosting interfaces between forty five applications like SPIRITworld, GPMS, Pegasus etc. and over a hundred different trading partners like Rentrak, Deluxe, Amazon, Apple/iTunes has reached its End-of-Life  The Java Virtual Machine (JVM) used by this platform is past its End-of-Life and has several vulnerabilities  This platform is running on Oracle (SUN) hardware which is costly to maintain

Proposed Solution  Upgrade to a new middleware platform using the latest webMethods release running in a virtualized environment on Vblock  Migrate all the interfaces from the old platform to the new platform, decommission 14 Oracle Solaris servers and significantly reduce operating costs  Remediate JVM vulnerabilities  Provide scalability, enhanced monitoring, large data processing and better Disaster Recovery capabilities  Support additional standards and protocols (both data and transmission)
