2. Pray in Faith  This should be our first reaction – James 5:13-16  Motivated by trust in God – James 1:5-6  Pray to Him who is in control – Prov. 3:5-8

3. Do Not Lose Hope  It is easy to become cynical & pessimistic, but God’s children are to be different – Rom. 8:28  There is good to be found – Eccl. 9:7-9  Our aim is not in this life – Titus 1:1-3

4. Love At All Times  Even when it hurts, there is profit in showing love & compassion – 2 Thess. 3:13  Love defeats hatred – Prov. 25:21-22  We should be there to comfort one another – 2 Cor. 13:11-13

5. Conclusion Faith, hope, and love abide if we choose to hold on to them. No matter what evils we have to face in this world, do not lose heart; God is in control and has promised us a better, eternal home!
