2. GENESIS  Nirman began as an initiative of a group of NT- DNT students, studying in the field of social work.  Their focus is on emancipation of the most discriminated communities, officially termed as the NT-DNT. The aim of NIRMAN is to emancipate NT and DNT and bring about social change and democracy through education and mobilization.(DNT) De-notified and Nomadic Tribes )  Nirman believes in the values liberty, equality and fraternity for creating a just society.
