Introduction What animal do you think is very interesting? A scorpion of course! This following report will tell you about a scorpions habitats, adaptations, preys and predators and how they look.

How They Look The scorpion is pretty small but it does have a lot of body characteristics. They have a pair of claws. Eight legs to crawl around. Also they have six to twelve eyes to look for prey. Their outer covering is usually black, yellow or brown. I hope you like the scorpions stylish looks.

Adaptations The scorpion lives a long life so it needs a lot of adaptations. The scorpions physical adaptations are the telson (stinger), and pinchers. Its behavioral adaptations are nocturnal and mimicry. Sometimes they can be camouflaged. These adaptations help it live a long life.

Habitat Scorpions can be seen all over the
world. They live on all continents except Antarctica. They like to live in warm countries, like Mexico. They like warm countries, but they even live on snow clad mountains. Scorpions have a lot of homes & you only have one.

Prey and Predators Even though the scorpion is poisonous it does have a lot of predators. The scorpion’s predators are meerkat pups, lizards and owls. To get their prey they attack with pinchers. Scorpions prey are insects, snakes, spiders. The scorpion has a lot of prey, but they have to watch out for predators.

Conclusion I hope you learned a lot about the scorpions habitat, adaptations, prey and predators and how they look. I hope I can see one someday.
