2 What is Institute for Health Improvement
IHI was officially founded in 1991, but originally it began in the late 1980s as part of the National Demonstration Project on Quality Improvement in Health Care, led by Dr. Don Berwick and a group of visionary individuals committed to redesigning health care into a system without errors, waste, delay, and unsustainable costs. Since then, it’s grown from an initial collection of grant-supported programs to a self-sustaining organization with worldwide influence.

Launched in 2008 by Don Berwick The program is a group of course to build QI knowledge Available in 60 different Countries students and professionals are part of IHI Open School 1,500,000+ courses completed on IHI Open School 1,000+ Healthcare organizations using course for staff training
