2. SMART CLASS EQUIPMENT Smart Class LCD Projector/Built In Screen Control Panel Credenza (DVD/VCR & P.C. inside)

3. TURNING ON A/V SYSTEM Smart Class Use the key provided to you by your department head to unlock the credenza.

4. TURNING ON A/V SYSTEM Smart Class *Make sure Master Switch is on inside the credenza. *Master Switch will light up red if it is in the ON position. Master Switch should never be turned off.

5. TURNING ON A/V SYSTEM Smart Class Press the “ON” button located on the bottom right hand side of the control panel and the projector will begin turning on.

6. TURNING ON A/V SYSTEM Smart Class Please note, if you’re touch pad is not working, there will be a remote inside the credenza. The green button on all remotes will turn on your projector.

7. TURNING ON A/V SYSTEM Smart Class Press the “ON” button located in the center of the computer to turn it on. Pull out mouse and keyboard from drawer above the P.C. You’ll find the monitor built into the Credenza above the keyboard.

8. PROJECTING A COMPUTER Smart Class To display the computer, press the “Input” button on the control panel until the projector reads “Input A” on the top corner of the screen. *If using a remote, press “INPUT” button until you see “INPUT A” on the screen. Or press button labeled “Input A” or “Input 1”.

9. PROJECTING A COMPUTER Smart Class To adjust the volume coming from your *computer press the “VOL +” and “VOL -” buttons on the control panel. *Please note, volume must also be turned up on your P.C. to receive sound.

10. PROJECTING A DVD Smart Class To play a DVD or VHS open the compartment on the right hand side of the credenza and pull out the DVD/VCR combo player located inside.

11. PROJECTING A DVD Smart Class To play a DVD, turn on your DVD/VCR combo player by pressing the “Power” button on the bottom left hand corner of the player.

12. PROJECTING A DVD Smart Class Press the Eject button next to the DVD player to open it. Place DVD in player with label up. Push the Eject button again to close and load the DVD player.

13. PROJECTING A DVD Smart Class Press the “DVD” button on the control panel to have projector display the DVD player. If there is no “DVD” button press the “INPUT” button until the projector displays the word “VIDEO” on the top corner of the screen. *If using a remote, press “INPUT” button until you see “VIDEO” on the screen. Or press button labeled “VIDEO” or “Input 3”.

14. PROJECTING A DVD Smart Class There are 3 ways to control your DVD: 1.Use control buttons located on the control panel. 2. Use control buttons located on the DVD player itself. 3.Use the remote control located in the compartment with the player.

15. PLAYING A DVD Smart Class To adjust the volume coming from the DVD press the “VOL +” and “VOL -” buttons on the control panel.

16. PLAYING A DVD Smart Class To stop the DVD press the STOP button located on the bottom left hand corner of the DVD player. Press the “Eject” button to retrieve your DVD.

17. PROJECTING A VHS Smart Class To play a VHS, turn on your DVD/VCR combo player by pressing the “Power” button on the bottom left hand corner of the player.

18. PROJECTING A VHS Smart Class Put your VHS tape into the slot on the right hand side of the player.

19. PROJECTING A VHS Smart Class Press the “VCR” button on the control panel to have projector display the VHS tape. If there is no “VCR” button, press the “INPUT” button until the projector reads “VIDEO” on the top corner of the screen. *If using a remote, press “INPUT” button until you see “VIDEO” on the screen. Or press button labeled “VIDEO” or “Input 3”.

20. PROJECTING A VHS Smart Class There are 3 ways to control your VHS: 1.Use control buttons located on control panel. 2. Use control buttons located on the VCR player itself 3.Use the remote control, located in the compartment with the DVD/VCR.

21. PROJECTING A VHS Smart Class To adjust the volume coming from the VHS press the “VOL +” and “VOL –” buttons on the control panel.

22. PROJECTING A VHS Smart Class To stop the VHS press the STOP button located on the bottom left hand corner of the VCR. Press the “Eject” button to retrieve your VHS.

23. TURNING OFF THE A/V SYSTEM Smart Class To turn off the A/V System press the “OFF” button located on the control panel twice. *If using a remote, press green “Power” button twice, or press “Off” Button twice.

24. TURNING OFF THE A/V SYSTEM Smart Class Turn off the P.C. and DVD /VCR player and you have completed shutting down the A/V system. Please place back all items removed from the credenza. (remotes, mouse/keyboard, etc.)

25. TURNING OFF A/V SYSTEM Smart Class Use the key provided to you by your department head to lock the credenza.
