East Tennessee Technology Park – Mission K-31 Demolition Accelerated cleanup (Vision 2020) Reindustrialization Historic Preservation to interpret the role of the K-25 Site in the Manhattan Project and Cold War era.

Future Reuse: Reindustrialization 721 acres of land transferred to date 14 buildings transferred totaling 332,000 ft 2 20 leased facilities totaling 530 acres 20 private companies operating at ETTP Site infrastructure, roads and services transferred to City of Oak Ridge More than 400 acres planned for disposition by 2017 7

Changes in Site Hazards 8 ORGDP production facilities (K-25, K-27, K-29, K-31, and K-33). Demolition of K-25, K-29, K-31, and K-33 complete. K-27 deactivation is under way. Residual hazardous materials are being reduced. D&D of remaining facilities complete by 2020. Hazardous waste is being shipped off site. Tenant and private business include hazardous material inventories.
