GE Background Information Study figure 9.10 on the following slide. As you study the diagram, frame your thinking with this question….. “How do vectors and fragments combine to make a changed organism?”

GE Background Information Check For Understanding…. Write a 2 minute essay in your lab notebook using the following prompt: Imagine using the technique shown on the previous slide to create a transgenic or genetically engineered organism (GEO). What would you create? Why? How would you go about making this transgenic organism?
